Inside the Online Course, you’ll find high-quality video instruction from Shifu Shi Yanjun and experts on the traditional form of Wu Bu Quan. Apart from the form, you will learn about Hands and Eyes Training, Hand stances (palm, fist, and hook), and an intro to Stances (Ma Bu, Gong Bu, Xie Bu, Pu Bu, Xu Bu). In addition, we will introduce a sequence for Warm-Up before the form practice.

Module 1: Warm-up

  • Active Rest Position – Introduction to proper resting posture.
  • Stretching – Focus on various areas: Neck, Shoulders, Torso, Back, Hamstrings, Knees, Ankles;
  • Traditional Standard Plank – Core strength exercise.
  • Traditional Standard Push-up – Upper body strength exercise.
  • Skipping Rope – Cardiovascular and coordination workout.
  • Balance – Developing body stability.
  • Body Relaxation – Techniques to relax and release tension.

  • Relaxing Shoulders – Techniques to relieve shoulder tension: Sinking & Raising, Opening & Closing, Forward & Backward Turns.
  • Wrist Movement – Exercises for wrist flexibility and strength: Circling, Lifting, Bending Upward.
  • Leading Eyes Movement Techniques – Coordinating wrist and eye movements for improved focus and coordination.
